Senior Welsh Championships taking place, free to watch, races start at 10am.
Next week the National Youth and Junior Track Championships are being held at Wales National Velodrome in Newport. Spectators are welcome at all sessions (see below).
We have also been asked to provide members to assist with the medal presentations (mainly walking forward with the medals, flowers and National Jerseys that are to be presented on the podium). We have been asked to do Wednesday (25th) for 6 presentation ceremonies between 2.30 pm and 5.30 pm. If you are interested in doing this then please reply to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you are not able to stay for the full time then please let us know what time you could do. You do need to wear full club kit for the ceremony but if you do not yet have the kit then we can provide some.
Please let us know if you have any queries on this.

As part of the Level 2 coaching course I’m currently doing, I need to deliver a series of 6 sessions, for this I’m looking to run 6 road based sessions working on key skills and techniques that can be applied to both general cycling and racing.
I have asked a few riders if they would come along to the sessions but I need a few more riders.
The first session will be on Saturday 9th June at approximately 1215 for an hour, riders will need to bring a road bike, helmet and suitable clothing for the weather conditions for all 6 sessions.
Could any interested riders please let me know that they would like to take part via email (email@example.com) so that I can send them a consent form to fill in along with some additional information.
Normal Saturday morning session 9.30-12.00.
Regional Youth Omnium starts at 12.00 – why not stay and watch some racing, entry is free.
The organisers have had to cancelled due to a double booking, we understand that refunds are being arranged.
Club Hoodies and Sweatshirts can always be ordered, but this week we have a special offer as the supplier has agreed to waive the postage charge (on orders placed until Sunday 29th). These Hoodies and Sweatshirts are ideal for riders when travelling to events and ideal for parents and siblings when supporting riders at events. Let’s make an impact at events by having as many supporters and riders as possible in these tops. You can see what they are like at this Saturday’s session.
They are available from: The Kit Crew at:
24th March – Icebreakers
19th May – Regional Omnium
